Recently the Police Association of Virginia was given a Recognition Award from the City of Portsmouth for donating $15,000.00 in K-9 Body Armor.

Police Association of Virginia President Ron Hyman (far right) presented the Portsmouth Police Department's K-9 Unit with 4 custom fitted K-9 Ballistic Vests on Friday, August 17, 2007 as part of the Association's continued Ballistic Vest Funding Program.

		Here are photos of the vests that were purchased by The Police Association of Virginia for 6 road deputies of the Suffolk Sheriff's Office.
