Recently the Police Association of Virginia was given a
Recognition Award from the City of Portsmouth for
donating $15,000.00 in K-9 Body Armor.

Portsmouth Police Department's K-9 Unit with 4 custom fitted K-9 Ballistic Vests
on Friday, August 17, 2007 as part of the Association's continued
Ballistic Vest Funding Program.


		******************************************************************************* Suffolk Sheriff's Department receives one of their many donated bullet proof vests from the Police Association of Virginia.

		Here are photos of the vests that were purchased by The Police Association of Virginia for 6 road deputies of the Suffolk Sheriff's Office.

	************************************************************************ These are some of the 25 Norfolk Sheriff's Deputies who received body armor vests for 2007 from the Police Association of Virginia's 2006 funds.
